For Restaurant Operators

Restaurant Stock Management Software for the Reorder.

VoiceOrder Solutions is restaurant stock management software for the ordering side of your kitchen. Check the walk-in, say what you need, review it, and your distributor gets a confirmed order at any hour. You get VOS through that distributor, who sets up your account.

Same Day

is when most kitchens are up and ordering

Sound Familiar?

The walk-in runs low, and the reorder still happens by phone.

Plenty of kitchens still check stock on a clipboard, then read the list to a rep. Every handoff is a chance for the order to go wrong. Here's what it costs you:
Integration icon

"We ran out in the middle of service"

The order went in by voicemail and a quantity got missed. Now you're 86'ing a dish on a Saturday night and sending someone to the store at retail price.
Integration icon

"We ordered six cases of what we already had"

Someone wrote the list at the desk from memory, not at the shelf. Now the extra cases sit in the back going bad, and that's cash you can't get back.
Integration icon

"We saw it was low at close, then forgot"

You checked the walk-in at 11pm and meant to call your rep once they opened. By the morning rush you'd forgotten, and the order never went in.

The Ordering Side

You check the shelves. VOS handles the order.

The reorder is VOS's job, not the count. You still look through the cooler and spot what's low, the same as today. What changes is what happens next: say each item as you see it, and VOS turns it into an order for your distributor.
Each order is confirmed, with the time you sent it
Your regular order guide, already loaded with prices
No list to read out to a rep over the phone
Fits next to the count sheet you already keep
In the Walk-In

Call out the order while you walk the cooler.

Take the VOS restaurant stock management app into the walk-in and say what you need as you look at each shelf. Your phone does the recording while you keep moving, so there's no trip back to the office to write it up. Your distributor updates the guide in your app, so you order from their latest list.
Order from the shelf, not from memory
Use it in the walk-in, dry storage, or behind the bar
Name each item and amount, then move to the next shelf
Called to the line? The order waits right where you left it

Fewer Surprises

Restaurant stock control software should start at the order.

A lot of stock trouble starts with a bad order: a misheard quantity, a missed item, a case nobody wrote down. VOS shows you the order before it goes out, so you can fix it on the spot. What your distributor receives is the order you checked.
Look over every line and amount before you send
No voicemail for anyone to copy down
Fewer wrong amounts reach your distributor
Each order you send is numbered
Voice Reordering

Running low at night? Order before you lock up.

VOS already knows what you usually order, so you name the item and say how much. You can do it while you close up or first thing in the morning, because ordering is not stuck inside your distributor's business hours.
No typing and no menus to scroll
Place orders 24/7, not just 9 to 5
Beats calling it in by 20-30 minutes
Sent right to your distributor, no hold music

See how reordering works from the walk-in

The demo runs 20 minutes: see a voice order go from the walk-in to the distributor. If your distributor doesn't offer VOS yet, ask us how to bring them on board.
Simple Setup

Set up by your distributor, with most kitchens ordering that day

No IT team and no system to rip out. Here's how you go from setup to your first voice order.
1

Get your account from your distributor

They add your restaurant and load the guide you'll order from. You get an app login tied to it. Not on VOS yet? Ask them, or contact us.
2

Sign in on your phone

Put VOS on your iPhone or Android and use that login. For most kitchens, the first order goes in that day.
3

Look, say it, send it

Check your shelves, open the app, and talk through what's missing. Review the order, tap send, and you're back in the kitchen.

"I used to spend hours every week ordering food. Now it's simple, super easy, and I have free time to spend on other aspects of my restaurant."

Distributor Platforms

Why VoiceOrder Solutions

Made for placing the order.
Not a full inventory platform.

All-in-one restaurant inventory platforms are built around counts and food cost, and setup can run for weeks. As restaurant stock management software, VOS focuses on the part of your stock check that ends in an order. Here's how it stacks up against the tools you probably use now.

FAQ

Stock and reordering questions, answered

How do I get VOS restaurant stock management software for my kitchen?
Through your food distributor. Distributors set VOS up for the restaurants they supply: they create your account, load the items you buy with their prices, and you sign in on the app. Ask each distributor you buy from whether they offer VOS and whether there is any cost to your kitchen. If yours isn't using VOS yet, contact us and we'll make the introduction.
Do I still have to do physical counts?
Yes, and your count sheet or inventory app stays. This restaurant stock management software does not count your stock or keep an on-hand number for your kitchen. What changes is the next step: you speak the order into your phone at the shelf, instead of writing a list to call in later.
Does my order guide keep up with what my distributor has?
Your distributor keeps your guide current, with the items you normally buy at the prices they set. Their catalog shifts with their stock, so fewer shortages surprise you at the door. Your distributor can tell you how stock changes show up for you.
Is VOS a full restaurant inventory system?
No. VOS doesn't run kitchen counts, cost out recipes, track waste, or use your POS sales to work out food cost. Its job is the reorder: you say what you need, and VOS sends it to your distributor, confirmed.
What happens when something runs low?
You spot it, and VOS makes the reorder quick. Pull out your phone wherever you are, say the item and how much, and send it. It works any time of day, and what reaches your distributor is a clear order, not a voicemail.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. There are VOS apps for iPhone and Android, made to use right in the walk-in. If something pulls you off the order, your progress saves so you can finish later.
How soon can my kitchen start ordering?
Kitchens are usually sending orders the same day the account is ready. Your distributor does the setup, so all you do is install VOS on your phone and sign in. You don't need an IT team or any tech skills.
