A Digital Ordering Checklist

Restaurant Checklist Software for Your Ordering Routine.

VoiceOrder Solutions is restaurant checklist software for one job: ordering. You get it through your distributor, who adds your usual items to the app. Whoever is on shift says the order from that list, not a paper sheet. Cleaning and opening lists stay in the tools you use now.

Sound Familiar?

Your order changes depending on who places it.

Your chef has a system. Your Tuesday manager has another. Neither one is written down, so the order runs on memory. Here's what that costs:
Integration icon

"Everyone does the order differently"

One person checks the walk-in first. Another goes by what ran out last week. Items slip through, and nobody can say who ordered what.
Integration icon

"When the chef is off, things get missed"

The routine lives in one head. Whoever covers forgets a whole section of the order or calls the chef on their day off.
Integration icon

"Our checklist is a photocopy from 2019"

It still lists items you stopped carrying. Once people skip the lines that are wrong, they start skipping the right ones too.
Same Steps, Every Time

The List Itself

Your order guide becomes your team's checklist.

On a lot of kitchen checklists, ordering is a single line: "put in the order." VOS is where that line actually gets done. Your distributor sets up the list for you in VOS, so there is no checklist for you to write. It's restaurant operations checklist software for the one routine that costs you money when it slips.
A digital order guide built just for your account
Only what your restaurant orders, at the prices your distributor set
They update it when products or prices change
What you normally order, waiting each time you open it
Shift-Proof

Restaurant checklist software for managers, whichever shift they work.

The same guide opens whether your chef is in or on vacation. It lists every item you usually buy, so whoever covers goes down the same list and checks the shelves to see how much to order. Your ordering stops depending on who remembers what.

Pulled onto the line mid-order? It saves until you're back
No texts to the chef asking what to order
New managers have the full list from their first shift

Walk and Talk

Checklist software for restaurant managers who order on their feet.

Walk the walk-in with your phone and call out what you need as you go. VOS captures each item as you say it, so nobody writes a list and types it in again later. That copy step is where ordering mistakes creep in.
Talk through the order standing at the shelf
Keep moving while your phone does the recording
Review the whole order before you send it
Once you confirm, it goes out with the send time on it
Every Site

Multi location restaurant checklist software, same steps everywhere.

Every location orders in the same app with the same steps, from the guide your distributor maintains. For owners, it is restaurant owner checklist software that keeps a record without paper: each order gets its own number and a time stamp once it's sent.
Every site runs the order the same way
No site has to write its own list
A confirmation text or push alert after each send
Each site orders from a phone, not by calling it in

What helps each shift send a clean, correct order.

Small details that keep the routine the same, whoever is ordering.
Integration icon

A Record of Who Ordered

Each VOS order names the person who sent it and the time, so there is a clear record behind it.
Integration icon

Fewer Surprise Swaps

Your distributor's product list tracks their stock, which means fewer shorts or swaps catch you by surprise.
Integration icon

Deals From Your Distributor

Promos can arrive by text message or push notification, so whoever does the ordering sees them.
Integration icon

The Right Item Each Time

Each line is tied to your distributor's own item code, so every shift orders the same product, not a close guess.
Integration icon

Any Spot in the Building

Order on your phone from the office, the dock or the bar, with no extra device to set up.

Simple Setup

How your restaurant gets set up

No IT work on your side. If VOS is new to your distributor, tell them you want it, or contact us and we'll help you get connected.
1

Your distributor opens an account for you

They set up your order list and give you an app login.
2

You add the app to your phone

Get VoiceOrder Solutions on iOS or Android. Most kitchens are placing orders before that day is over.
3

Your team runs it every shift

Look over the shelves, talk through the order, review it and send. Same routine, whoever is on.

"I used to spend hours every week ordering food. Now it's simple, super easy, and I have free time to spend on other aspects of my restaurant."

Why VoiceOrder Solutions

Built for ordering.
Not a general task app.

A task app can remind someone to do the order. As restaurant checklist software, VOS is where the order gets built, checked and sent. For temperature logs and staff to-do lists, use a tool made for that. Here's how the three compare, including where task apps win.

FAQ

Questions operators ask us first

Does VOS handle opening and closing checklists?
No, and we would rather say so up front. VOS does not do cleaning schedules, temperature logs, food safety sign-offs, photo proof of tasks, or general shift task lists. What it does is make placing orders with your distributor a consistent, repeatable routine. For the rest of your checklists, a dedicated task app is the better fit.
How does restaurant checklist software help with ordering?
It turns the paper order sheet into a digital checklist that runs the same way every time. Your items are already in the app, added by your distributor. Whoever is on shift walks the storeroom, says how much is needed, checks the order and sends it. If a delivery arrives halfway through, nothing is lost and they resume from the same spot.
What does restaurant checklist software pricing look like?
There is no published price list, and VOS is priced by quote. Most restaurants get VOS through their food distributor, so check with your distributor about any cost to you. You can also contact VOS directly.
Can anyone on the team run it, or just managers?
Anyone you trust with ordering. That way, the order no longer hangs on one person being in that day. Each order also shows the sender and when it went out.
Who keeps our order guide up to date?
Your distributor does. They edit it in their admin platform whenever an item is added, dropped or repriced. Nobody has to reprint anything.
Can I run the same routine at several locations?
Yes. Every site uses the same app and the same steps, so ordering works the same way at each one. Ask your distributor how they set up accounts and order guides for more than one location.
Will VOS work alongside my POS and my task app?
Yes. You keep your distributor, your POS and any task or food safety app your team relies on. This restaurant checklist software covers the ordering step only, so there is nothing for you to rip out.
How fast can my team start ordering this way?
Most restaurants are ordering the same day their account is ready. Your distributor does the setup, including your guide and your app login, so your only job is getting VOS onto your phone. If your distributor does not offer VOS yet, ask them about it, or reach out to VOS for an introduction.
